Other Projects
Here are some quick overviews of some other projects that I've worked on, along with their repositories.
Chatbot: Computer Science Department
As part of a KDD class we split into teams to make a chatbot that could answer questions about the CS department at the university. I led the team that worked on answering questions about the faculty and their fields of research. Check it out here (not up yet, but it will be once I hook it up to IRC).

Chatbot: Personality
As part of a different class, I worked on another simple chatbot we named "Cranky Abe"; the purpose of this one was to be able to hold a casual conversation with a personality. We chose to give ours the personality of a cantankerous old man, fond of interrupting you to recall stories from his past. Running the bot starts an IRC channel, where you can interact with it. You can talk with Abe here.

Narrative Generation
This was a quick project where we were tasked with writing a program to generate a story-summary of an episodic television show. I chose to create plots for House, M.D., a medical drama. The program creates a number of subplots based on the different characters and their traits along with an overarching medical plot, and weaves the various stories together.
