Taiwan Lottery App
I moved to Taiwan in August of 2017 to stay until June 2018. Taiwan has a very interesting lottery in place; the government sponsors a "uniform-invoice" lottery where every official receipt from any business contains a lottery number. This was done to encourage the general public to put pressure on businesses to give receipts, which had the convenient side-effect of businesses more accurately reporting their taxable income to the state.
I was collecting a lot of receipts, so I made a simple Android app that keeps track of the numbers for me. When the winning numbers are released every other month you can enter them in the app and it will tell you what you've won, as well as the receipt number and entry date for each winning receipt you have. This saves you the trouble of combing through all your old receipts, only to find out that you didn't win anything. Also, all the text in the app is in Chinese as well as English, so it should be easy to use for nearly everyone in Taiwan.

Here's a link to the app in the Play store. If you download it, feel free to send me feedback at [email protected]!
