CRU App
For my undergraduate capstone class I worked in a team of six developers to create an Android app for CRU, a student organization with a presence on our campus. We interfaces with a CRU representative to determine features and requirements, and worked in two-week sprints throughout the school year to develop the app. At the end of the year, each group (different teams developed the app for different platforms) presented their work to national CRU leadership and turned their code over for them to potentially combine and use in the future. As of December 2016, CRU has not released any new app based on the work done in our class.
The app functions as an information-dissemination tool for CRU leaders to push information about news and upcoming events to members. Members can also use the app as a ridesharing service to organize carpools to and from events, or to get involved by subsribing to sub-groups within the organization or find out information about attending long-term trips through CRU.

Here is a copy of the final APK we turned over to CRU. The app is very database-driven and the test-server hosting the database may be down, or taken down permanently, at any time.

Here is some of the documentation we developed while working with the CRU representatives to start determining the features & requirements of the app. The plan evolved as we developed the app and worked with the representative; these documents were made at the end of the first quarter.
